2014 was yet another tragic year for law enforcement across the country, as our family lost 124 officers in the line of duty. Two of those deaths, NYPD Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, coming in the final weeks of the year. Many of the officers here in Whitpain Township often show their support for their fallen brothers and their families by attending the always difficult funeral services. On Sunday January 4, 2015, Sergeant Joseph Fenerty, Officer Jon Bleuit and Officer Frank Franco attended the funeral service for NYPD Officer Wenjian Liu in Brooklyn, New York. They were joined by thousands of other law enforcement officers who traveled from across the country to show their support.
